Colombo, October 14 (Daily Mirror)- The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory warning on strong winds and rough seas off the coast extending from Negombo to Galle via Colombo.
According to the advisory, temporary strong gusty winds of 60 to 70 kmph are expected in the affected sea areas.
Thundershowers are also likely in the sea areas off the coast from Negombo to Galle via Colombo, the Department said.
Naval personnel and fishing communities engaged in activities in these sea areas have been urged to remain vigilant.
