Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are once again a clear and present danger to the rest of the NFL.
And it is more than Mahomes overcoming a torn ACL and MCL in December. It is more than Andy Reid making a mockery of anyone who might have suggested that the game was passing him by at 68 following a 6-11 season.
It is mostly because when Mahomes turns around to hand the ball off now, there is Kenneth Walker III, driven to help drive Mahomes back to his fourth Super Bowl championship.
The last thing teams stalking the Lombardi Trophy need is Mahomes with a running back like this.
