DAEGU — Daegu Health College said on the 21st that it signed an agreement with SCL Healthcare, a contract research organization, to run a bio-health research support specialist course under the Youth Leap Talent Development Boot Camp.
The college serves as the lead institution for the Youth Leap Talent Development Boot Camp program, overseen by the Ministry of Education and other agencies, and runs artificial intelligence-based well-aging and bio-health courses for young adults aged 19 to 34 who are out of work.
Under the agreement, the college and SCL Healthcare will train clinical trial specialists among health-related graduates and job seekers and connect them to employment.
Specifically, the two sides will cooperate on jointly developing and advising on curriculum, mentoring by industry experts, field training and internships, and hiring links for course graduates.
In July, the college launched the Well-Aging and Bio-Health AX Boot Camp Governance body with Kyungpook National University Hospital, the Daegu Nurses Association and the Daegu Association of Medical Technologists.
"By adding industry sites to the college's education, hospitals' clinical practice, and the support of professional organizations and the local community, we will complete a growth path for young adults and train human care-oriented clinical trial specialists," Daegu Health College President Nam Sung-hee said.
