(ANSA) - ROME, 19 OTT - Milan riots at the weekend showed destructive acts of rare violence by the young adults involved in what was primarily a youth protest, prosecutors in the Lombardy capital said Monday.
The adults arrested Saturday for the unrest in Milan's city centrr—during which trash cans, cobblestones, and other objects were hurled at law enforcement—demonstrated "an absolute ease in improvising destructive acts of rare violence," as well as "significant criminal capacity" and a complete lack of "self-control," according to the Public Prosecutor's Office, which filed documents requesting the validation of the arrests and the detention of several of the five young individuals involved.
One of them, the documents reveal, even carried out his actions while wearing a balaclava depicting the face of a well-known soccer player. (ANSA).
