Zodwa Wabantu has given her son Vuyo his flowers, and Mzansi is here for it! The socialite-turned-sangoma, whose full name is Zodwa Libram, took to Instagram on 11 October 2026 to share the exciting news that her 21-year-old had secured his very first job, and she did not hold back on the pride.
"Wealthy Son, Wealthy Mother! Congratulations to my son on his 1st job at age 21. We are hard workers over here. Independent. Umnikazi we Mali Ndim (The money is mine)."
The announcement was accompanied by photos of the mother-and-son duo dressed in matching all-black outfits, with Vuyo bearing a striking resemblance to his famous momma.
Vuyo Libram's big year
This latest achievement caps off what has already been a landmark year for Vuyo. Earlier in 2026, Zodwa shared that her son had passed matric with flying colours, leaving her beaming with pride. The job news is yet another win for the young man who, according to his mother, has been raised with a strong work ethic and a grounded outlook on life.
Vuyo is Zodwa's only child, and she has spoken openly over the years about the deliberate effort she puts into shielding him from the wilder side of her entertainment career. For her, raising an independent, hardworking son has always been the priority.
