Casio has announced that two of its popular wearables have won 2026 Good Design Awards. One is a Classic watch, which is available in a wide range of colorways, and the other is a popular miniature watch.
Two of Casio’s watches have received 2026 Good Design Awards. The winners of the annual competition, founded in Chicago in 1950, were announced in mid-October 2026.
The first Casio watch to win a 2026 Good Design Award is the Classic AQ-240. This model was unveiled in October 2025 with three variants with gold and silver colored resin casing and straps, and various dial colors. Since then, the brand has launched six more colorways, the latest of which are the AQ-240EG-3A, the AQ-240E-1A and the AQ-240E-2A2. This Vintage watch features two analog hands with a slim digital display showing information like the date and the day of the week. In the US, these watches start from around $70 (AQ240E-4A curr. $69.95 at Amazon Marketplace).
The second Casio wearable to win a 2026 Good Design Award is the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 Ring Watch. Officially unveiled in late 2025, this miniature version of the classic digital watch measures 23.4 x 20.0 x 7.5 mm (~0.92 x 0.79 x 0.30 inches). On the display, users can view the hour, minutes and seconds, and there is also a calendar function. Other tools include a stopwatch and an LED backlight.
Also receiving 2026 Good Design Awards is the Casio Dimension Shifter DN-SE10, a guitar strap accessory with an integrated controller. Plus, the Casio Sampler SXC-1, a 16-pad device which comes with 208 sound sources, has also been acknowledged with an award.
