Shabwa – Thousands of people gathered in Yemen's southeastern province of Shabwa on Wednesday in response to a call by Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), in a mass rally that highlighted strong public mobilization in the governorate.
Participants converged in large numbers from various districts across Shabwa, carrying flags and banners while expressing support for the STC's political agenda and its vision for the future of southern Yemen, according to local organizers.
The gathering came following a call by Al-Zubaidi for a public mobilization in the province, with speakers at the event emphasizing unity among southern communities and backing efforts aimed at addressing political, economic, and security challenges facing the region.
