Koffi Olomide turned up to Fred Machoka's 50th anniversary celebration looking every bit the style icon, and Kenyans had plenty to say about it.

The 70-year-old Rhumba legend stepped out in a crisp white blouse, black-and-white striped trousers and a black hat, finishing the look with gold jewellery that had eyes darting his way from the moment he arrived. Beyond the fashion, Koffi also delivered a world-class performance that left Rhumba fans thoroughly entertained throughout the evening. Other musicians who performed included Rhumba queen Mbilia Bel, Cameroonian music star Sam Fan Thomas, and Kenyan veteran acts Les Wanyika and Them Mushrooms.
