Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled new cabin crew uniforms designed by Pakistani fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, which will come into use from October 31.
According to a PIA press release, the uniforms will debut on the inaugural London-Islamabad flight of the airline’s newly acquired Dreamliner aircraft.
The designs were selected through a competitive showcase in Karachi featuring collections by several leading Pakistani designers. A panel of fashion industry professionals and a PIA aviation veteran evaluated the entries.
The airline said the new uniforms combine contemporary fashion with breathable fabrics, tailored cuts and features designed to ensure comfort during long-haul flights.
The designs reflect Pakistan’s cultural heritage, modern fashion and the warmth of its hospitality.
