In a recent interview with The Guardian, the Star Wars star discussed the private nuptials, whilst also adding that he and his wife are expecting their first son.
While he did not disclose who his wife is during the interview, a new Instagram post has confirmed his wife and mother to his future son is model Lashontae Heckard, also known as Tae Heckard.

Sharing a photo of himself and a heavily pregnant Heckard, he wrote: “Our bundle of joy has been with us for some time now but thank you for all the well wishes. Also my sister is about to pop! Wish her well too!”
“Love and blessings to my Blessing!!!!,” Heckard commented under the post, while other friends congratulated the couple.
Before the confirmation on Wednesday, October 14, fans speculated that the pair were an item.
Both only exclusively follow each other on Instagram, and Heckard has changed her name on the platform to Tae Boyega.
In an Instagram carousel last month, she shared a zoomed-in photo of Boyega’s face as she used the reflection in his sunglasses to take a selfie.
In that same carousel, there is also a cartoon sketch of the two of them holding hands. Commenting on the post, Boyega wrote: “So this is why you cook Pounded yam and egusi on Saturdays?? a tactical weapon of mass plan-canceling. I'm onto you lover.”
Heckard, 48, is an actor and model who is best known for her appearances on the BET series The Game, a show starring Tia Mowry and Hosea Chanchez which is about a group of women who all have relationships with professional football players.

Heckard, who was born in Seoul, South Korea, was previously engaged to basketball player Brandon Jennings, with whom she shares a child who was born in 2015.
