Trinity Airways (091810.KS) is expanding its global network through a partnership with a Taiwanese carrier.
The airline said on the 13th that it has signed an interline agreement with Taiwan's EVA Air to sell tickets linking routes operated by the two carriers.
Trinity Airways passengers can travel from major domestic airports such as Incheon and Gimpo, transit through Taiwanese airports including Taipei and Kaohsiung, and continue to Clark, Manila, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Guangzhou on EVA Air flights. EVA Air passengers can also connect through Korean airports from major Taiwanese airports to major Japanese cities served by Trinity Airways.
Interline tickets are available through travel agencies. Passengers using connecting flights can check their baggage through to the final destination without reclaiming it at the transfer airport.
Trinity Airways expects the arrangement to widen its reach among overseas customers by selling each carrier's routes through both airlines' sales channels, and to capture transfer demand between Europe and Asia.
The airline has also formed interline partnerships with Virgin Australia, ITA Airways and Air Premia, extending its route connections to Australia, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
"We will work to strengthen our route competitiveness based on partnerships with a range of airlines and to provide customers with a more convenient travel experience," an official at Trinity Airways said.
