San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans is hobbled with multiple injuries entering Week 6. The team's leading receiver is dealing with Achilles and rib injuries that have him listed as questionable for their Monday night matchup with the Washington Commanders.
Evans hasn't practiced all week, but as of Sunday morning, he's yet to be ruled out for the game. Even worse, there doesn't seem to be much consensus among beat reporters on which way Evans is trending. That uncertainty around Evans' status puts fantasy managers in a tough spot as they attempt to set their fantasy lineups for the weekend.
Mike Evans fantasy outlook
Washington is a great matchup for wide receivers, so Evans should absolutely be in your lineup if he plays. However, the nature of his injuries makes it tough to hold out hope of him suiting up, especially against an opponent San Francisco can potentially beat without Evans. They may opt for caution and hold him out.
