We’re partnering with Flo Health to elevate women’s health

A truly personalized health experience starts with understanding the unique rhythms of your body. With Google Health Coach, ¹ we’re building a personal health experience that adapts to your lifestyle, habits, and biology — which is especially important for women. Connecting the dots across sleep, daily readiness, activity, and recovery gives a clearer picture of your overall health across the different phases of your cycle and stages of life. That is why we make it easy to log your cycle dates and symptoms, or quickly view period predictions and cycle phases — either on-wrist with Fitbit Edge or in the Google Health app. And with Google Health Premium, you can receive tailored, cycle-aware coaching, too. ²

As part of our long-term commitment to invest in and support women's health, we’re launching a landmark, multi-year strategic partnership with Flo Health, the world's leading female health platform used by more than 80 million women every month. This collaboration will help build a cohesive, empowering experience to manage daily health. Plus, we'll partner on initiatives that further women's health.

A multi-year vision for tailored guidance

Because your body goes through complex phases throughout the month and major shifts throughout life, health insights must continuously adapt. Google Health aims to give you a complete view of your overall wellbeing across all phases and stages of life — from periods to pregnancy to perimenopause. When you wear a smartwatch or tracker 24/7, like the Google Fitbit Air , Pixel Watch 5, or all new Google Fitbit Edge, you capture the continuous, night-over-night biometric data needed to truly understand these shifts.

Our collaboration with Flo Health will focus on four central pillars:

• Secure, consent-based app syncing: Beginning early next year, you will be able to easily sync your Flo Health app with Google Health. With your consent, your cycle data from Flo Health can be linked with your Google Health metrics (e.g. resting heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, and sleep stages) to give you one clear picture of your day. Similarly, the data from your Google Health app will be made available to Flo for a deeper, more personalized, and consistent experience between apps.
• Google Health Coach integration: ³ Flo Health data will integrate with your Google Health Coach. Whether you’re navigating cycle health or managing perimenopause, with Google Health Premium your coach will connect the dots across your cycle, sleep, and recovery to give you tailored, actionable guidance.
• Ground-breaking women’s health research: We plan to partner on dedicated research initiatives spanning underserved topics — this may include perimenopause, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.
• New products: We will partner to build new products that are specifically designed for women, with a deep integration of Flo's women's health insights and algorithms with our expertise in wearable hardware and advanced sensors.

Built with uncompromising privacy and expertise

We recognize that women’s health data is deeply personal. Your trust is our top priority, which is why this entire experience is built on a strict, transparent opt-in model.

Flo Health and Google Health are committed to data privacy and security, and a crucial part of this partnership is ensuring women stay in control. No data will move between the apps without your explicit permission — given separately for each type of data and each purpose — and you have the control to withdraw permission at any time. Flo data shared with Google Health will never be used for advertising, never be sold, and will not be made available to other apps or developers through Google's health platforms.

We are eager to bring thoughtful, innovative experiences to women at every stage of their health journey. This is just the beginning of a long-term partnership to make personalized health guidance a daily reality.
