Samlip (005610.KS) said on the 18th that it is taking part in SIAL Paris 2026, an international food trade show running from the 17th to the 21st at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France. Held every two years, SIAL Paris ranks among the world's three largest food trade shows alongside Anuga in Germany and Foodex in Japan.
Samlip set up a standalone booth built around the concept of a "K-Dessert Atelier," a space that reinterprets traditional Korean folk painting in a contemporary style. The company is showcasing about 40 products, ranging from traditional Korean snacks such as hotteok, a sweet filled pancake, hoppang, a steamed bun, and yakgwa, a honey cookie, to modern bakery items and desserts. Chung In-ho, chief executive of Samlip, also visited the site to present the products to overseas buyers in person. Samlip said it plans to strengthen business networks with global buyers and find new export opportunities to expand its overseas distribution channels.
"Through a diverse lineup that reflects Korea's food culture and our distinctive product development capabilities, we will demonstrate the competitiveness of K-bakery in the global market," a Samlip official said.
