Europcar Oman & Bahrain hosted an exclusive pre-launch gathering on Wednesday, 7 October, at The Diplomatic Club, Muscat by the Sea, welcoming sponsors, board members of the Oman Golf Association, general managers of golf clubs, representatives of the golfing community and golf enthusiasts ahead of the 12th Europcar Open, scheduled for 11 December 2026 at Al Mouj Golf.
Presented this year under the banner "Asha Enterprises Presents the Europcar Open", the tournament continues a legacy spanning more than a decade, having evolved from a corporate golf competition into an established platform connecting Oman's business, diplomatic and golfing communities.
The pre-launch gathering provided an opportunity to reconnect with longstanding supporters, welcome new partners and celebrate the relationships that have shaped the Europcar Open over the years.
Adding to the evening's experience, guests enjoyed a specially curated culinary offering by Mumtaz Mahal, whose signature flavours and warm hospitality brought a distinctive touch to the gathering.
Building on the success of its 11th edition, which attracted 124 golfers and over 260 guests at the evening gala, the tournament continues to strengthen its regional appeal, bringing together golfers and business leaders from Oman, Bahrain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Nitin Sapre, Group CEO of Asha Enterprises LLC, commented:
"The Europcar Open has always been about much more than golf. Over the years, it has become a platform where business, diplomacy and sport come together, creating friendships and relationships that extend far beyond the fairways. As we prepare for our 12th edition, we remain grateful to our sponsors, strategic partners and the golfing community whose continued trust and support have made this journey possible."
The Europcar Open continues to enjoy the support of its strategic partners, including The Diplomatic Club, AmCham Oman, British Business Forum Oman (BBF) and INMECC.
The 2026 edition is further strengthened by the support of its corporate and hospitality partners, including Ford Oman, Mistal, ITL World, Howden Insurance Brokers, Al Omaniya Financial Services, Tivoli LA VIE Muscat Hotel & Residences, Alila Jabal Akhdar, Alila Hinu Bay, W Muscat, The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, Hilton Barr Al Jissah Resorts, JW Marriott Hotel Muscat and dusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar.
