Bella Hadid goes topless during sizzling workout

Bella Hadid has just made sauna workouts the hottest fitness trend to follow – and she also does them topless.

The supermodel took to her Instagram Stories on October 15 to show off her latest approach to maintaining her sculpted figure. The photograph captured Bella stationed on a yoga mat inside a wood adorned sauna at the ALO gym. On all fours, Bella raised one leg while lifting a weight with her opposite arm.

Bella showed off her bare toned back and wore a pair of micro black gym shorts. Her luscious blonde locks were swept back into an effortless bun.

However, the Orebella founder is all about balance as her next post showed her indulging in a piece of chocolate cake while in bed.

Bella's choice of gym doesn't come as a surprise considering her recent collaboration with activewear brand ALO. Shot in Los Angeles by fashion photographers Mert & Marcus and styled by Mimi Cuttrell, the campaign showed Bella posing in a variety of signature ALO essentials, including the Airbrush Better Together Bra and Full Stride Micro Short, ALO Trail Sneaker, Airlift Rebel Bra, and High-Waist Rebel Leggings.

The supermodel previously opened up about how she likes to blend  cardio, strength workouts, pilates, and boxing. "When time is on my side, I train with my coach for intensive sessions," she told Vogue. "I run non-stop for 20 minutes followed by a boxing session and finally a series of weights targeting the abs and glutes. We keep the routines varied, so the sessions are always fun."

"Definitely boxing. But also Body Ballet, I’ve only tried it out once but I can see the long-term results amongst my friends."

The benefits of saunas

Using a sauna after a workout can improve muscle recovery, boosts cardiovascular fitness, and reduces stress.

HELLO! previously investigated the benefits of contrast therapy. "Contrast therapy works by deliberately exposing the body to short, controlled doses of thermal stress," explained Dr. Mohammed Enayat, longevity physician and founder of HUM2N Longevity Clinic. "Heat causes vasodilation, where blood vessels widen and circulation increases, while cold exposure causes vasoconstriction, where blood vessels narrow and stress hormones such as noradrenaline rise."

"The goal is not to prove toughness," says Dr Enayat. "The best protocol is the one you can recover from." For beginners, he typically recommends starting conservatively with 10 to 15 minutes of heat exposure followed by 30 to 90 seconds of cold, repeated two or three times.
