Trading is no longer a solo journey, according to several key cryptocurrency opinion leaders (KOLs) who took part in an exclusive talk show hosted by Bitunix, a cryptocurrency exchange, and BeInCrypto at TOKEN2049 Singapore.
The interviews were recorded on October 7–8 at Marina Bay Sands, where Bitunix took part as a Gold Sponsor. The guests were HAMAHA, Pushpendra Singh, Alvaro Smart Money, Coach Miranda Miner, BitBull, The House of Crypto, and Crypto World. They spoke about trading tournaments, education, market analysis, AI, and futures.
HAMAHA, a trader with more than 20 years of experience, said crypto trading tournaments are on the rise. As a tournament winner who now helps organize them, he said competing alongside others makes trading more engaging and brings traders together. He also spoke about what community support means when markets turn.
Recalling the market crash in October last year, HAMAHA said the Bitunix Care Fund truly helped the community.
“The guys from Bitunix were very supportive. They set up a fund and helped the community that day. Because of them, those that were affected were able to start again from a small amount and cover their losses,” he said.
BitBull, the trader behind the TradeMania community, said traders do not have to be alone, adding that “when you’re a trader, and you’re alone, you can make many mistakes.” He also praised Bitunix’s support for the trading community and spoke about his plan to grow TradeMania internationally by combining live trading with education.
Learning Over Earning
Alvaro Smart Money, a trading-focused creator, said traders should not trade for the wrong reasons and should have a clear method. Trading, he said, is not only about making money. It is also about gaining experience and learning.
Coach Miranda Miner, founder of the Global Miranda Miner Group (GMMG) and the Philippine Association of Crypto Traders, said learning works best when it has structure.
“The faster you come in, the faster you go out. Education is the foundation for understanding what trading is about,” he said, pointing to the Davao Traders Education program.
Looking Beyond the Price Chart
Peter from The House of Crypto, a platform focused on market analysis, trading insights, and education, gave his view of current market conditions. He said money flow, meaning where capital is moving, can help traders understand the market, and he encourages looking beyond price movements to the wider context. According to him, it’s about understanding money flow, then understanding crypto and choosing the right projects to invest in.
In addition, Alvaro Smart Money also said context matters when making trading decisions. BitBull added that while traders do not have to be alone, they should not trust anyone blindly and should do their own research.
AI and Blockchain May Accelerate Adoption
Pushpendra Singh, a Web3 creator who follows AI and blockchain, said AI could change the trading experience. He described an AI-powered tool that brings several functions together for newcomers.
“Some people don’t know anything about crypto, but they want to learn about it. We put everything into one tool with the help of AI, so they can learn, do analysis, manage their crypto portfolio, do DEX accumulation, etc.,” he said. Moreover, he also pointed to the rise of AI agents and everyday uses for tokenization.
Crypto World, a crypto content creator, shared his experience of trading futures and explained how active traders use futures in different market conditions.
