AUSTIN, TX — Star Ole Miss football running back Kewan Lacy has exited the Rebels' matchup against Texas with an apparent injury.
Lacy left the game at Texas on Oct. 24 in the 3rd quarter. The Rebels trail 24-10.
Lacy has dealt with nagging injuries throughout the 2026 season. A left shoulder injury kept him out of Ole Miss' Week 4 loss at Florida. He also sustained a lower body injury in Week 7 against Missouri, but he played through it.
Kewan Lacy stats
Lacy entered the game against Texas with 62 carries for 352 yards and five touchdowns.
He rushed for 1,567 yards and a school-record 24 touchdowns over 15 games in 2025.
Kewan Lacy backup
Makhi Frazier has generally been the second running back on the Rebels' depth chart behind Lacy, with JT Lindsey also getting in the mix pretty consistently.
Joshua Dye and Shekai Mills-Knight have also gotten carries.
