Cow electrocuted after its tail touches exposed wire in Triplicane

A cow was electrocuted on Saturday after its tail touched an exposed wire of an overhead electric pole on Thayar Sahib Street of Triplicane.

The police said the cow was standing near the electric pole in the heavy rain and died after its tail touched the exposed wire of the pole at around 10 p.m. 

The residents of the locality immediately alerted the police officials, who, with the help of Corporation workers, removed the dead cow with an earth mover.
