The Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve is preparing a weekend of Halloween celebrations, with an immersive cocktail experience and DJ party on October 31, followed by a family-friendly brunch on November 1.
Both events are open to hotel guests and the general public, with activities designed for different ages.
On Halloween night, one of the hotel’s rooms will be transformed into an abandoned laboratory, complete with atmospheric lighting, vintage equipment, mysterious bottles and unfinished experiments.
The experience, entitled The Abandoned Lab, invites small groups of participants to sample three exclusive cocktails presented as magical potions, each accompanied by its own story.
The guided tasting begins at 6.30pm and costs €30 per person. Places are limited and advance booking is required.
Afterwards, celebrations will move to the hotel’s Lume Lounge Bar, where a DJ, themed cocktails and Halloween decorations will keep the party going.
The cocktails created for the laboratory experience will also be available at the bar throughout the evening.
Entry to the afterparty is free, and visitors do not need to participate in the tasting to attend.
Halloween brunch for families
On Sunday, November 1, the celebrations will continue at Brasa Coastal Steakhouse, with a Halloween-themed brunch from 1pm to 4pm.
The event will feature live cooking stations, unlimited selected drinks and live music, alongside a programme of activities for children.
Young guests can decorate pumpkins from 1pm, take part in an interactive magical potions workshop at 2pm and enjoy a haunted dance party at 3pm, complete with games, music and a fancy dress competition.
All participating children will receive small gifts and certificates.
The brunch costs €35 per adult, while children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge if they come in Halloween costumes.
Reservations are subject to availability and can be made by calling 289 371 234.
The two-day programme offers a choice between a Halloween night out for adults and a family celebration the following afternoon.
