Countdn AI, a global generative AI startup led by CEO Sanghee Kim, announced on Oct. 15 the launch of a conversational AI agent for MeeAww, its all-in-one AI video creation service.
Alongside the existing workflow of uploading a product photo and selecting an advertising style, users can now brainstorm ideas and request video and image content through conversations with AI.
The new feature is designed to reduce the content production burden on solo sellers and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands with limited video production staff and budgets. By describing what they want to create in a conversation, users can move from planning and design to finished content, making advertising content easier to produce without complex settings or editing tools.
MeeAww’s mobile-first approach addresses the time constraints of sellers working on the go. Short-form commerce on platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok Shop has increased the need for video content. Yet small business owners juggling product sourcing, store operations, filming and customer service often struggle to find time to plan and edit videos at a computer. MeeAww is built around these working conditions, allowing users to create content on a smartphone and continue their work on the web.
Its core engine, AI Ad Studio, produces advertising videos from a single product photo in approximately five minutes. According to the company, tasks that would take at least two hours using conventional editing software can be completed with just a smartphone and a product photo, without a studio, model bookings or professional filming equipment.
Users can select formats suited to their needs, including user-generated content (UGC)-style ads and cinematic ads that showcase products with a film-like presentation. MeeAww also offers an “Ad Recreator” feature that analyzes the formats and trends of popular ads to create new versions tailored to a user’s brand, as well as an “Image to Video” feature that turns still photos into videos. With the conversational AI agent, users can now request video and image content through chat in addition to creating content by selecting a photo and style.
The service follows an “App-First, Web-Supported” strategy. Users perform core production tasks on their smartphones while on the go, and content created in the app automatically syncs with the web platform and cloud for subsequent work. This approach accommodates sellers’ mobile working habits while also providing an environment for producing content at scale and collaborating with others.
MeeAww also supports connections to external AI services. It has adopted Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard introduced by Anthropic for connecting AI applications to external tools and data sources, enabling users to invoke MeeAww and control video production from external AI environments such as Anthropic’s Claude. Alongside MeeAww’s own conversational AI agent, these integrations provide another way to access its content creation capabilities while carrying out advertising-related tasks.
MeeAww has recorded 1.7 million cumulative downloads across 190 countries, with more than 95% of its revenue generated overseas. According to the company, video revenue surpassed revenue from its existing image-editing offering within one month of the video feature’s introduction, while total revenue increased by 25% over two months.
Building on its global user base, Countdn AI combines mobile-first production with conversational AI and external AI integrations to support advertising content creation for sellers and brands worldwide.
