“Think they can control celebrities…”
Koreaboo
Actor Gong Yoo‘s recent actions during a fan meet allegedly dictated by a fan have sparked a heated debate about the treatment of celebrities by fans.
Gong Yoo is currently doing fanmeetings in Asia.
A clip of the actor pretending to be a dog has gained attention, with the OP who shared the video expressing anger at the fan for making him behave like this.
I’m sorry but what exactly are you guys screaming for ????
Because this shit is so irritating and disgusting. There’s absolutely nothing cute about this video
Like no matter how much I love Gong Yoo, this is so cringey to watch😤
This man is literally approaching 50 and you guys… https://t.co/We0b1gayEU pic.twitter.com/OJHb5Y1B1P— kdramahotgists (@kdramahotgists) October 15, 2026
Many netizens agreed, hating that fans thought that spending money on stars meant they could do whatever they wanted with them, with comments describing the actions as “disgusting” and “cringy.”
Buying a ticket to a fan meeting isn't buying a human being. It’s high time we call out this toxic entitlement. Seeing stars like #GongYoo #KimSeonHo & #LeeDongWook forced into humiliating, childish acts just to satisfy "fans" is degrading. High pay does not equal zero boundaries. https://t.co/RhuL5svwUn

This is why the fans are parasocial and think they can control their celebrities btw, behavior like this shouldn’t be encouraged https://t.co/ZfdZgF89v2

Kpop and kdrama fans pay those high prices for fan meetings and start making onlyfans requests of their faves because it feeds their fantasies https://t.co/9q8RpyDc7s
