Bournemouth have changed their stance and are now open to selling Chelsea target Alex Scott in January, writes Dom Smith.

However, the Cherries are only willing to consider the 23-year-old’s sale under specific conditions.

Standard Sport understands that Bournemouth are open to selling their prized midfielder in the January transfer window if an offer of more than £100million comes in. Bournemouth sources say a sale will only happen in January if Premier League survival is looking likely.

Shakhtar Donetsk chief executive Sergei Palkin has revealed the club will seek compensation from Tottenham for winger Manor Solomon.

Solomon joined Spurs on a free transfer in July 2023 after a FIFA ruling allowed foreign players at clubs in Russia and Ukraine to suspend their contracts immediately following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

At the time, Shakhtar threatened legal action, believing Solomon had a market value of around €20million (£16.9m), and they are now set to reignite those discussions after the Israel international moved to West Ham this summer for an initial £5m fee.

Links to Arsenal - as well as Real Madrid - have persisted since then, with Bayern Munich also said to be interested in a big-money swoop for Yildiz.

However, BILD in Germany now claim that Bayern will not compete for his signature if other clubs come in with huge offers.

Tottenham were mentioned as a potential shock destination for Endrick over the weekend, though Football Insider now claim that Aston Villa are plotting their own move once the transfer window reopens for business.

Could Erling Haaland really end up at Arsenal?

It is hard to believe, but the outcome of Manchester City’s ongoing appeal against the guilty verdict returned by an independent commission last month on 114 of their 115 Premier League charges will surely have a decisive say on the future of arguably the world’s best striker.

It has previously been reported that Haaland could leave City next summer regardless despite only signing a new long-term contract last year, with a high-profile move to LaLiga said to be top of his wishlist amid long-standing interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, Football Insider now claim that a desire to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record could yet convince the Norwegian superstar to stay put in England.

Manchester United reportedly have no plans to sack Michael Carrick after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham condemned the club to their worst start to a league season for 40 years.

The struggling Red Devils were comfortably second best to a Spurs side who sat winless and bottom of the Premier League table ahead of Saturday evening’s high-profile fixture at Old Trafford - with Roberto De Zerbi’s team having taken five matches just to score their first goals of the campaign despite a lavish summer transfer spend in excess of £300m.

However, United appeared to be on course for a valuable victory - just their second in six top-flight games so far this term - after Bryan Mbeumo broke the deadlock 17 minutes from time.
