When Maliek Collins' 2025 season was cut short due to a knee injury, a lot of people in and around the Browns were upset to lose his talent and leadership. He worked his way back during the offseason and has come into the 2026 season with a fire lit under him, and now he is being rewarded for it.
Late Saturday night, the Cleveland Browns and Maliek Collins have agreed to terms on a 2-year contract extension for $30 million in total, with $23 million in total guarantees over the length of it. The news of the deal was first reported by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Collins was a third-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2016 out of Nebraska. He spent four seasons with them before hopping around to the Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans, and San Francisco 49ers before landing with the Browns in 2025.
