vivo launched the X Fold6 in China in June and announced it for international markets earlier this month. It also launched the X Fold6 in India a few days ago at the vivo NEXT 2026 event, where it unveiled the V80 and S2 FE and showcased the vivo Vision Discovery Edition MR headset. The vivo X Fold6 will be available in Prism Black and Nebula Teal in India. We already showed you the Prism Black model, so now let's take a look at the Nebula Teal colorway we've received.
The retail package of our Indian Nebula Teal X Fold6 is identical to its global counterpart. The box has the same design and finish and includes a SIM ejector tool, some documents, a charging cable, a 100W power adapter, and a phone case that matches the phone's body color. It's a full-fledged premium unboxing experience. We like that vivo hasn't skimped by removing the power adapter from its premium smartphones' packages in the name of sustainability, regardless of the Galaxy (pun intended) they are sold in.
Moving on, the vivo X Fold6's Nebula Teal model, like the other colorways, packs a 6.51" cover display with a centered punch-hole for the 20MP selfie camera. It's a 120Hz LTPO 8T AMOLED panel with 5,000 nits of local peak brightness and a 2,528x1,120-pixel resolution. There's no fingerprint scanner underneath, so you have to rely on the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, since the folding display has none either. The X Fold3 Pro had one under both screens, and we hope vivo will bring back the in-display fingerprint scanner with its next foldable.
That said, what caught our attention immediately after turning on the vivo X Fold6 Nebula Teal and completing the initial setup process is the default wallpaper. It's pretty cool and matches the phone's color. We like this attention to detail on the Nebula Teal model, as it makes the Prism Black's default wallpaper look comparatively boring.

If you are wondering why vivo chose this wallpaper for the Nebula Teal, it's because "Nebula Teal draws inspiration from the tranquil moment at daybreak when the sea and sky merge at the horizon."
Unfold the vivo X Fold6, and you see the complete wallpaper. And what you are viewing it on is an 8.02" folding LTPO 8T AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,504x2,312-pixel resolution, and 5,000 nits local peak brightness. It also has a 20MP selfie camera in the top-right corner.

Fold the X Fold6 and turn it around, and you see a circular camera island with a dual-LED flash, three cameras, and a ZEISS logo in the center. The primary camera uses a 200MP Samsung HPB sensor, the APO telephoto camera uses a 50MP LYT-602 sensor, and the ultrawide camera uses a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor, all with ZEISS T* coating.

The camera island has chamfers around, and its sides match the phone's body color.
Unlike the Prism Black X Fold6, which features fine vertical ridges on its back cover, the Nebula Teal has a clean look with no patterns. The color itself looks cool, and you see different shades when light reflects off the cover at different angles.

The back panel is covered with glass and resists smudges. It's also non-slippery, but if it tends to slip from your hands, the bundled phone case will help, as it has a rubbery finish that improves grip while also protecting the phone.

The bundled phone case has the vivo logo etched and is translucent. We say that because the case's top and bottom portions, as well as the part protecting the camera island, are slightly transparent. We like the design and quality of the case, but it's worth noting that its textured, rubbery finish tends to collect dust, as you can see in one of the pictures below.

That said, we like the overall design of the vivo X Fold6's Nebula Teal model. It's built well and has a premium in-hand feel, though some users might find it difficult to hold and use with one hand because of the camera island.

The vivo X Fold6 will go on sale in India starting October 13 through vivo's Indian website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and partner retail stores. It comes in a single 12GB/512GB configuration and is priced at INR219,999.
