Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson’s busy work schedules have kept them from living together after 11 years of dating.
“We do as much time as we possibly can, because work takes us apart constantly,” Taylor shared on Tuesday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
“But I have an apartment here [in New York] and she stays here at my apartment when she’s here, and we stay together here when we’re both here.”
Taylor, 83, noted that despite not officially moving in together, Paulson, 51, has a “separate house” that she has yet to move into after almost a year.
“She’s been staying [in] my house in New York [and] in LA too, so we’re together as much as geography and our jobs let us be,” the “Two and a Half Men” star continued.
Paulson previously revealed the secret to her long-standing partnership with Taylor was not living in the same home during a 2024 episode of the “SmartLess” podcast.
“Holland and I, we spend plenty of time together but we don’t live in the same house,” she explained. “We’ve been together for a long time now and I think part of it has to do with, we’re together when we wanna be and we’re not when we don’t.”
The couple first met at a party in 2005 but connected romantically in 2015 after following each other on X.
Taylor openly discussed dating a mystery woman 30 years younger than her on WNYC’s “Death, Sex & Money” in November 2015.
“There’s a very big age difference between us which I’m sure shocks a lot of people, and it startles me,” she said at the time. “But as they say, ‘If she dies, she dies.'”
The following month, Taylor and the “American Horror Story” star’s romance was confirmed, with sources telling People they had been secretly dating for a few months.
Paulson has previously addressed her age gap with Taylor, saying that she doesn’t “want to be defined by who I share my bed, my home, my soul with” in a 2018 interview with Town & Country.
“My choices in life have been unconventional, and that’s my business,” the “Glass” star said. “But I do want to live responsibly and truthfully without hiding.”
Taylor, meanwhile, doesn’t foresee wedding bells in her future with Paulson, admitting they “never talked about it with any interest.”
The “Legally Blonde” star explained that marriage “doesn’t seem to mean to [them] what it means to a lot of people” during a 2024 appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show.
However, Taylor later stated that she and Paulson would get hitched if they wanted to.
