British MP Rupert Lowe has declared that his Restore Britain party intends to bring civilian immigration from the developing world to a complete halt, naming specific countries whose nationals would be barred from entering the United Kingdom (UK) under the proposal.

Lowe set out the policy at the Restore Britain party conference during a speech outlining the party's political programme.
According to Business Insider Africa, the Great Yarmouth MP named Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, Eritrea, Albania, Afghanistan, Iran, and Bangladesh as countries from which immigration would be stopped entirely.
"Immigration into Britain from the third world will end entirely," Lowe told the conference, framing the measure as part of what he called a "red list" of nations.
What is Lowe's policy position?
The Great Yarmouth representative, who was sworn into the House of Commons on July 9, 2024, after winning his constituency, has positioned himself as one of the more hardline voices in Britain's immigration debate, advancing policies that go well beyond the mainstream political goal of reducing net migration figures.
"We will implement our red list. We will do what any self-respecting nation should do. Discriminate," he added, signalling that the party intends to make country of origin a formal criterion in immigration decisions.
Beyond the immigration ban, Restore Britain's programme calls for the deportation of illegal migrants, the removal of lawfully resident foreign nationals who fail to meet strict conditions, the abolition of the refugee system, and a significant tightening of the process for obtaining British citizenship.
Lowe acknowledged that the proposals remain political commitments rather than enacted law, noting that translating them into policy would require navigating considerable legal and administrative complexity.
