Recently, the series The Lament of Autumn, a period drama based on the novel Yu Dian Qi, premiered. The show tells the story of a student accused of attempting to assassinate the son of a powerful family, and the relationship that develops.
During the Republic of China era, student Ye Pingjun is falsely accused of trying to assassinate the Yu family’s fifth son. She gives Yu Changxuan ten days to find the real culprit as he secretly grows closer to her.

Ultimately, he lets her go before walking out of the room.
