Governance Spokesperson at the Presidency, Dr Sammy Ayeh, has picked nomination forms to contest for the position of Deputy National Communications Officer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Dr Ayeh said he was seeking the position to help communicate the party’s vision clearly and align its message with the aspirations of Ghanaians.
In announcing his bid, he expressed gratitude to the party’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, whom he credited with providing leadership, mentorship and confidence that had contributed to his development.
He said Mr Gyamfi’s influence had shaped his journey and strengthened his resolve to serve the party.
“I am deeply grateful to Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, our able National Communications Officer, on whose shoulders I have risen. His exceptional leadership, mentorship and confidence in me have shaped my journey and strengthened my resolve to serve,” he said.
Dr Ayeh outlined three key priorities for his proposed role: strengthening research-driven communication, empowering grassroots communicators and enhancing strategic media engagement.
He said he hoped to build on the existing foundation to improve how the NDC communicates its vision and connects with the public.
The Governance Spokesperson appealed to party members and supporters to back his candidature as he seeks to become Deputy National Communications Officer.
“I humbly ask for your support,” he added.
