Nana Kofi Babil’s 82nd-minute strike earned Medeama SC a hard-fought victory over Aduana FC in Matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
The cagey encounter appeared destined for a draw before Babil struck with just eight minutes of normal time remaining, sending the defending champions back to the top of the league table following Hearts of Oak’s victory on Friday.
The defeat sees Aduana FC slip to seventh place, while Medeama return to winning ways after last week’s loss to Samartex.
