ⓘ GameSir
GameSir has unveiled its new global brand ambassador, and has confirmed the launch of special edition products made in collaboration with the professional eSports player. Among the upcoming products is GameSir's first keyboard.
GameSir has announced several controllers this year, some of which are special editions of its G7 Pro flagship controller. Now, the accessory maker has teased new special edition controllers, as well as the first product from a new product line.
Posting on X, GameSir revealed it has a new global brand ambassador in the person of Persica (Mu Xinyue), an Identity V professional player that plays for Weibo Gaming. As it has done with its current brand ambassadors such as MenaRD and Royal2, GameSir says it will launch special versions of some of its products in collaboration with the 20-year old gamer.
According to the post, there will be special versions of the Nova Lite 2 (available on Amazon for $29.99) and the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC, with unique designs inspired by Persica. However, what is surprising is that GameSir also revealed that it is launching a keyboard, and it will be available in a special edition made in collaboration with Persica.
Unlike its rival, 8BitDo which has been making keyboards for years such as the Retro 108, Retro 68, and the numerous Retro 87 keyboards, this will be GameSir's first. No details have been provided yet, so it is impossible to say what features the keyboard has.
However, the teaser image included with the announcement shows the keyboard doesn't have a dedicated numpad, so it is probably an 87-key keyboard. Another hint the image gives is that the Persica edition of the controllers and keyboard will most likely be pink, based on the prominent color in the image.
GameSir hasn't revealed the release dates for these new products, but we hope they will be announced before the end of the year.
