MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Announced parameters of the fiscal policy will facilitate inflation slowdown in the midterm, the Bank of Russia said after its Board meeting.
"The Bank of Russia takes into account the announced parameters of fiscal policy. On the medium-term horizon, fiscal policy will help slow down inflation. Changes in the fiscal policy parameters may require an adjustment in the monetary policy pursued," the regulator said.
The Bank of Russia made a decision earlier today to keep the key rate at 14% per annum.
