After the Motorola Moto G47 ($195 on Amazon) hit the market in May, a new "Power" model now appears set to follow soon. The Motorola Moto G47 Power is already listed in the EPREL database, according to which the smartphone was placed on the market on October 15, 2026 – so the official launch is likely just a few days away.
The EU energy label already confirms what is probably the most significant upgrade of the Moto G47 Power – the battery grows from 5,200 mAh to 6,790 mAh, storing around 30 percent more energy. The smartphone can be charged via USB-C at up to 33 watts. Battery longevity is also impressive, as Motorola advertises 1,200 charging cycles before the remaining capacity drops below 80 percent. The mid-range smartphone is only IP64-certified, meaning it is protected against rain but is not fully waterproof.
On the other hand, the device is said to withstand drops comparatively well – according to Motorola, the smartphone survived 180 drops in internal tests without damage. Motorola guarantees security updates for at least five years. The battery is officially not user-replaceable, but the repairability rating of "B" suggests that repairs should not be too difficult. No further details about the specifications, price or launch date of the Moto G47 Power are known yet. The older Moto G47 features a 6.67-inch, 120 Hz IPS panel with a 720p+ resolution, a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP selfie camera and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300.
