NEW YORK, October 15. /TASS/. US entrepreneur Elon Musk has said that it is high time for Vladimir Zelensky to step down.
Commenting on a post by one of the X platform's users, who noted following Zelensky's interview with British TV host Piers Morgan that Zelensky’s "greatest fear is ending the war and facing a presidential election," Musk wrote, "And so the slaughter continues … Time for Zelensky to go."
Zelensky’s term as president officially expired on May 20, 2024, but Kiev has thus far refused to hold scheduled elections, citing martial law as the reason for not doing this.
On October 10, US President Donald Trump said Zelensky should hold elections and that he could have put an end to the conflict in Ukraine and concluded a peace agreement many times.
