Prosecutors in the northern Serbian city of Novi Sad ordered a police investigation into reports of money being offered for votes.
The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office said it ordered the investigation after receiving an anonymous report that 3 people were offering money for votes in the municipality of Beocin ahead of the October 25 parliamentary elections.
The October 21 report gave the initials of the 3 individuals. The Police were instructed to establish their identities, interview them and conduct checks to determine whether a crime was committed and gather evidence.
