Juventus face several problems after their disappointing defeat to Lazio at the weekend, which exposed weaknesses that have troubled the team since the start of the season. Their inconsistent performances have frustrated supporters, but the manner of the latest loss has raised even greater concerns.
Luciano Spalletti now faces increased pressure as manager, and his future could become uncertain if results don’t improve in the coming weeks. Although Juventus would prefer to maintain stability, the club may eventually consider a change if the situation continues to deteriorate.
Spalletti faces growing pressure at Juventus
Juventus players will hope the club continues to support Spalletti, as another managerial change could create further uncertainty within the squad. However, if performances do not improve, the manager could pay the price, leaving some players needing to prove their worth under a new coach.
The Bianconeri want to return to competing for major honours, but their current struggles suggest that the problems extend beyond the touchline. Juventus must identify the reasons behind their inconsistent displays if they are to recover their form and meet expectations.
Former Juventus striker Fabrizio Ravanelli believes the players themselves must accept responsibility for the situation. He has questioned their mentality and suggested that a lack of personality is contributing to the club’s difficulties.

Ravanelli identifies Juventus’ main problem
Speaking via Tuttomercatoweb, Ravanelli argued that too many players were failing to show the character expected of someone representing Juventus.
He said:
“This team lacks personality above all. Many players seem to be hiding, not wanting the ball. Juve isn’t up to par; so many players haven’t shown they’re worthy of the black and white jersey. Everyone’s to blame; you can’t just point the finger at the coach, the club, or the team. But, from the players’ perspective, I expected something more in terms of pride and inner fire.”
Ravanelli’s assessment places responsibility across the club, while emphasising that the players have not demonstrated enough pride or determination. His comments suggest Juventus need more than tactical adjustments to turn their season around.
