FCB Nyasa Big Bullets travel to Lilongwe on Sunday to face MAFCO FC in the FDH Bank Premiership, looking to stay top of the table.
Wedson Nyirenda’s side lead with 33 points from 16 games, one ahead of Mighty Wanderers, who have 32 from the same number of matches.
Bullets went top last Sunday with a 2-0 win over Blue Eagles at Mpira Stadium, thanks to goals from Chawanangwa Gumbo and Ephraim Kondowe, having ended the first round with a 5-0 victory over Silver Strikers.
Nyirenda was also named coach of the month for August.
MAFCO are in the relegation zone and have changed their coach, with Ted Kalinda replacing Temwa Msuku, who has moved to other duties in the Malawi Defence Force.
The soldiers’ side will see the visit of the leaders as a chance to disrupt Bullets’ title bid.
The match is at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
