A woman who planned her ex-boyfriend’s murder has been granted parole after serving seven years of her ten-year jail term.
Steven Donaldson, from Arbroath, was brutally murdered in 2018 by two men after his former girlfriend, Tasmin Glass, lured him to a playpark.
The 27-year-old’s loved ones were told on Wednesday that Glass would be released from prison.
Steven’s father, Bill Donaldson, said he was “disappointed” by the parole board’s decision but ”not surprised”.
He said: “We’re only ever notified of a parole hearing and the decision. The justice system is a mess.”
Glass was previously released on parole in July 2024, halfway through her sentence for culpable homicide.

Her release depended on following conditions, which included a ban on her entering Angus and Dundee, as well as approaching the family.
Mr Donaldson’s family previously said her release in 2024 was a “disaster”.
She was returned to prison nine months later after breaking the terms of her release. Two parole board hearings have been deferred since.
Glass was 20 years old when she lured Steven to a playpark in Kirriemuir in 2018, before Callum Davidson and Steven Dickie attacked him and then killed him at a nearby nature reserve.
The trio were given a combined 57-year sentence.
Dickie took his own life in prison in 2019 at HMP Perth.
The parole board said it does not comment on individual cases.
