Prince George has finally reunited with his parents after completing his first half term at his new school.
Prince William and Princess Catherine's eldest child, 13, has been living away from home for the past six weeks after he started boarding school at Eton College, Windsor, at the start of September.
On Friday, George returned to the family's "forever home" Forest Lodge in Great Windsor Park for the start of Eton's "long leave" – an extended break that is the £65,673-a-year school's equivalent of half term.
The school holiday is longer than most half terms at 16 days, and will see pupils returning on 8 November, according to Eton's website.

Though he'll likely be very glad to have an extended stay at home, it's probably not the first time that he's been back to visit since going away.
At the end of September, Eton boys had a "B weekend" – optional weekend leave – and enjoyed a "Short leave" weekend from 2 to 4 October.
What will George be doing during his stay back home?
George will be able to reunite with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, who are also on half term from Lambrook School for the next two weeks.
It's an especially exciting time, as both Halloween and Bonfire Night are approaching, so the Waleses will be able to enjoy these together as a family.
Though these celebrations are usually kept private, Princess Catherine has been spotted buying Halloween costumes for her children in the past.

There's also a fireworks night less than 15 minutes away from the family home at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, which promises "a welcoming night out for family and friends as bonfire season draws to a close".
The Prince and Princess of Wales typically spend time away from public engagements while their children are on school holidays so that they can spend time as a family.

As George is now away full-time at school and no longer lives at home, they'll likely be hoping to make the most of their special two weeks as a five again.
Prince George's new era at Eton explored
Prince George arrived at Eton for his first day at school on 8 September, following in his father's footsteps.
He was joined by his parents for his official welcome, meeting Eton's head master Simon Henderson, who told the future King: "Welcome, good luck, enjoy it."

George later changed into "school dress", a uniform standardised in the 1960s of a black tailcoat, waistcoat and pinstriped trousers, with a stiff white collar, and posed for an official first-day-at-school photograph, taken by Matt Porteous.
William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, were allowed to complete their time at Eton without media intrusion, and William and Kate will be hoping George receives the same courtesy.
HELLO!'s Royal Editor, Emily Nash, wrote previously: "The Waleses’ hope is that he will be able to fit in and have some experience of feeling "ordinary" in a school where the children of high-profile families are not unusual."
Eton is an all-boarding school, and though George will have his own room, it will be a humble dormitory space, just like all the other boys.
