(ANSA) - ROME, 13 OTT - Traces of DNA belonging to the same unidentified man have been found on the jeans of Liliana Resinovich—the woman who went missing on December 14, 2021, and whose body was discovered on January 5 in the woods of the former psychiatric hospital in Trieste—as well as on one of the black bags containing the body.
This finding addresses one of the specific questions posed by the Trieste preliminary investigations judge (GIP) to the court-appointed experts; the results will be discussed at a hearing on October 30.
The experts also determined that there were no traces of soil from the location where the body was found on the soles of Liliana's shoes.
Furthermore, they established that there was "direct contact" between the jacket worn by the victim's husband, Sebastiano Visintin, on the day she disappeared and Liliana's own jacket and handbag. (ANSA).
