“He actually had a little time, which has been lacking thus far in the season. Some of that was slightly improved play from the offensive line. Some of it was Jordan Love buying time with pocket movement against pressure. But I also think the Packers found what I hope that will be their identity on offense. Most play action they’ve used in the entire season thus far. Over half of the game, they were in 12 or 13 personnel, multiple tight ends on the field,” Kimes said.
“The Bears would match that by putting their base defense on the field, just four defensive backs. And Love said, ‘Cool, let’s go over the top because I’ve got two speedy wide receivers in Christian Watson and Matthew Golden,’ who’s gone so good tracking the football. Jordan Love plus those two receivers. That’s one of the best deep ball throwing quarterbacks with deep ball receivers in the NFL. It’s honestly been criminal to not see that happen because the pass protection over the last few weeks. It was good to see them find a way to buy him some time so that he could hit them downfield.”

How Jordan Love, Packers played against Bears
Jordan Love and the Packers base will be happy to get payback against the Bears, the same team who ended their playoff run last season. Getting this win amid a shaky start will do wonders to Green Bay’s confidence.
Green Bay controlled the game from start to finish, scoring in all four quarters. Chicago only scored with a touchdown from De’Andre Swift, being unable to get past the Packers’ defenders for the rest of the day.
MarShawn Lloyd didn’t rack up a lot of yards, but he made the most of his scoring chances. He racked up 10 carries for 31 yards and two touchdowns. Christian Watson torched Bears defenders with six catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Matthew Golden came next with six receptions for 123 yards, while Tucker Kraft caught five passes for 64 yards.
The Packers will look forward to their next matchup, remaining at home. They host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6 as kickoff commences on Oct. 18 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
