Emergency services are dealing with a one-vehicle crash in the Highlands, which is affecting both the A9 and the Far North Line.
The crash was first reported just after 5pm on Thursday, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) deploying two appliances to the scene near Portgower.
A spokesperson confirmed the crash involved one vehicle and, due to its proximity to the railway line, the line has been closed between Helmsdale and Brora.
A ScotRail social media post said: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Helmsdale and Brora, the line is closed. Services are subject to delays, alterations and cancellations. Please use our app and website for service information.”
In addition, the A9 has also been closed due to the crash.
A police spokesperson said: “The A9 between Helmsdale and Portgower is closed due to a crash involving one vehicle which happened at 5pm.
“Emergency services are in attendance. The road is closed. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.”
