Ravens Week 6 injury report vs. Browns: Examining Tyler Huntley’s fantasy football value with Lamar Jackson banged up appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Tyler Huntley is back on the fantasy football radar, but replacing Lamar Jackson in Baltimore’s lineup does not automatically make him a must-start quarterback. With Jackson ruled out against the Cleveland Browns, Huntley profiles as a QB2 with rushing upside rather than a dependable starter in standard one-quarterback leagues.
Jackson missed all three practices with an ankle injury and will sit for a second consecutive game. Huntley gets another opportunity after guiding Baltimore to a 30-23 overtime victory over Atlanta, giving fantasy managers a recent performance to evaluate before setting their Week 6 lineups.
Ravens Week 6 injury report: Lamar Jackson out, offensive line concerns remain
Jackson headlines four Baltimore players ruled out. Center Cam Jurgens will miss the matchup with a concussion, while tight end Matthew Hibner and defensive lineman Broderick Washington are unavailable with hand and ankle injuries, respectively. The absences of Jackson and Jurgens also appear in Baltimore’s reported final injury designations.

The offensive line deserves particular attention when assessing Huntley. Andrew Vorhees is questionable after three limited practices with a foot injury. Emery Jones Jr. carries the same designation following limited participation throughout the week because of an ankle issue. With Jurgens already unavailable, additional absences would leave less room for error in protection.
There is better news among Baltimore’s receiving options. Mark Andrews practiced fully throughout the week despite a hand injury. Rashod Bateman returned to full participation Friday after missing Thursday with a shoulder issue. Zay Flowers was limited Thursday and Friday with a toe injury but received no game designation.
Ja’Kobi Lane remains questionable with a wrist injury despite practicing fully. Ronnie Stanley missed Friday with rest, toe and ankle issues but has no designation, while Roger Rosengarten and John Simpson also avoided game-status labels.
Defensively, Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Trey Hendrickson, Mike Green and Trenton Simpson have no game designation. That gives Baltimore fewer availability concerns on that side than Jackson’s absence creates for the offense.
Tyler Huntley’s Week 6 fantasy outlook against the Browns
Huntley’s performance against Atlanta showed why he belongs in the streaming conversation. He completed 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns, adding 20 rushing yards and another score on six carries. That combination delivered considerably more fantasy value than the passing yardage alone suggests.
However, managers should separate a productive result from a repeatable expectation. Three total touchdowns can turn a modest yardage outing into a strong fantasy week, but projecting another three-score performance would be aggressive. His rushing ability provides an alternative scoring path, although six carries do not guarantee substantial yardage or another touchdown.
Huntley’s career numbers reinforce that distinction. He has averaged 6.0 yards per passing attempt with 15 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions, compared with 831 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. His mobility strengthens his fantasy appeal, but the passing production supports treating him as a matchup-dependent option rather than an automatic starter.
Baltimore’s available receiving weapons help, particularly with Andrews, Flowers and Bateman carrying no game designation. Still, the offensive line’s health creates uncertainty, and the injury report alone is not enough to label Cleveland a favorable fantasy matchup.
In superflex and two-quarterback leagues, Huntley is a viable starter because his opportunity and rushing potential carry value. In one-quarterback formats, he is better viewed as an emergency replacement for Jackson or a bye-week option. Prioritize quarterbacks with steadier passing volume when available, and check Baltimore’s offensive line inactives before committing to Huntley.
