Currambine is the best-rated Coles in WA and the seventh-best in the country, according to Google reviews.
The store averages 4.34 stars out of 5 from 271 reviews.
Seobacklinks.com put the ranking together from a pool of 830 Coles supermarkets and smaller Coles local stores.
The stores had to be currently operational and have at least 200 Google reviews to be included.
That average rating was worked out from each store’s count of one, two, three, four and five-star reviews, rather than the rounded score Google displays, so stores that show the same rating on Google are still put in order.
Separate listings for liquor, petrol, online and express sites, closed stores and duplicate listings at the same address were left out.
The lowest-rated Coles in WA was Coles Kununurra at 3.72.
WA has 100 Coles in the national rankings, averaging 4.04, the fourth lowest rated of the eight States and Territories, but no WA stores were in the bottom 10.
Seobacklinks.com founder Oliver Weston said shoppers prioritised proximity and good service.
“The stores at the top of the list are mostly newer and bigger, with plenty of parking, and the reviews keep mentioning clean aisles and friendly staff,” he said.
“Those reviews sit right under the store’s name when people search for a Coles near them, so a store that gets the basics right is winning shoppers before they’ve even left home.”
