Agartala, October 12, 2026: Dr Rakhi Debbarma has brought pride to Tripura by winning the Mrs category at The Global Crown Miss & Mrs Global 2026, held in Kolkata on October 8. The Tripura Artisans Movement congratulated her on the achievement, describing it as a moment of pride for the state and an inspiration for women aspiring to make their mark on wider platforms.
The grand finale, presented by Anonymous Films and the Kolkata Film and Television Institute (KFTI), was organised under the theme “The Crown for Humanity”. The event celebrated beauty, individuality, talent and womanhood while emphasising empowerment, purpose and equal opportunities.
The Tripura Artisans Movement said Dr Debbarma’s achievement reflected the talent, determination and confidence of women from Tripura. It described her success as an inspiring milestone and said she had represented the state with distinction.
The event was attended by Chief Guest Shankar Ghosh, Minister and MLA, and Debasish Dhar, along with prominent personalities from society, business leaders and representatives from various professional fields.
Beyond the pageant, The Global Crown aims to provide participants with opportunities in modelling, acting, grooming and other areas of the film, television, fashion and entertainment industries. Its theme highlights that a crown can symbolise not only beauty but also confidence, compassion, individuality and a commitment to making a positive contribution to society.
