All airlines have route churn, and Breeze Airways is no exception. Between January 2026 and October 2026, the carrier ended ten routes: nine domestic and one international. Given how fast it is growing and how many brand-new routes it launches, it is perhaps surprising that the number is not even higher.
Airport churn also exists, with one market wiped out this year. The airline stopped flying to Montrose, Colorado, in April 2026. While it was also thought that all flights to Denver had been pulled, they have now been confirmed as returning next year. Of course, the number of airports and routes removed from Breeze's map was overwhelmingly outweighed by the number of additions.
Breeze Has Ended All These Domestic Routes
Between Breeze's first commercial service in 2021 and the end of 2025, the carrier only flew domestically. Even now, in 2026, with international service, Cirium Diio data shows that the domestic market accounts for 99% of Breeze's flights. Given its vast scale, the many remaining opportunities, and how new international activity is for the airline, that extremely high proportion was entirely predictable.
Between January 2026 and October 2026, schedule analysis shows that the following domestic routes ended. No flights are scheduled in the future, with Breeze's booking engine now available through early September 2027. Seven of the nine markets had a reasonable existence, as they all materialized between 2022 and 2024.

Only two routes began in 2025 or 2026. They included Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Ogdensburg, which is in Upstate New York, right by the Canadian border. It is located approximately 61 miles (98 km) from Ottawa.
It was unusual in Breeze's network, as it was funded by the Essential Air Service. Regardless of how many passengers are carried, the airline secured around $18 million through September 2026, which is when flights ended. Despite the funding, the loads were so low (just 28.2%) that it reduced the frequency from daily to four times a week.
One International Route Has Been Removed
Breeze's inaugural international service took place on January 10, 2026, from Norfolk to
Cancun International Airport (CUN). The second link, from Charleston to CUN, took off on January 17, followed by New Orleans to CUN on February 7.
Then there was Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to CUN, whose first flight was on February 14. Despite the launch date, love was not in the air, as it is the only route beyond the US border that Breeze has removed, at least so far. It was served on a Saturday-only basis through April 25, and just 11 round-trip services existed.
The US DOT shows that just 1,364 round-trip passengers were transported. It barely carried a tenth of the passengers who flew between PVD and CUN. Breeze's load factor was a very poor 49.8%, with fewer than half the available seats filled with passengers. Frontier Airlines operated between February and April 2022 and had a near-equal load factor (50.1%).
10 Routes Were Cut, But 68+ Started
While ten routes were removed between January and October 2026, Breeze launched approximately 60 new domestic markets in the same period, along with eight international routes. Six were inaugurated in four days in early October.
Obviously, the process never ends, at least for a growing carrier. In mid-October, Breeze revealed a further 16 routes for 2027, including a sixth international destination: Santo Domingo. There is a big emphasis on the South Carolina beach and golf destination of Myrtle Beach, with a dozen new routes coming. All the changes have contributed to a new number-one most-served airport.
