GoTrust, a data privacy, governance and security solutions provider announced the launch of the GoTrust Certified Privacy Professional (GCPP) Programme, a practitioner-focused certification where participants work inside the live GoTrust platform in every single session.
As organisations move from reading privacy regulations to running them across business and technology environments, the gap is no longer knowledge. It is hands-on skill. GCPP is built to close it.
Learn it where you will use it
The programme comprises nine expert-led sessions, each mapped to a GoTrust product module and built around live walkthroughs on the actual platform. Every session ends with a hands-on exercise. Participants will set up a compliant cookie banner end to end, run a DPIA for a high-risk processing activity, take a data subject request through its full lifecycle, run a multi-cloud data discovery scan, build a DLP policy and set up a vendor assessment pipeline.
The nine sessions cover:
- Cookie Consent and Unified Consent Management
- Privacy Automation (RoPA, DPIA and PIA)
- DSR Automation
- Data Discovery and Classification
- DPDP Fundamentals
- AI Governance
- DSPM Fundamentals
- DLP Fundamentals
- Third Party Risk Management
Together they span six capability pillars: consent and preference management, privacy automation, data security, regulatory compliance, AI governance and third-party risk.
Built for the people who actually run privacy
GCPP is designed for Privacy Managers and Analysts, DPOs, Compliance Leads, Legal Teams, IT and Security professionals, Cloud Engineers, AI/ML practitioners, Digital and Marketing teams, and Procurement and Audit professionals. The curriculum is India-first, leading with the DPDPA, and stays globally relevant with GDPR, CPRA, UAE PDPL, the EU AI Act and relevant ISO and NIST frameworks.
Participants who complete all nine sessions and pass the final assessment earn the GCPP certificate.
“Privacy is increasingly becoming an operational responsibility that cuts across legal, technology, security and business functions. The GCPP programme is designed to bridge the gap between knowing what regulations require and knowing how to put those requirements into practice,” said Himanshu Gautam, Founder & CEO, GoTrust. “Our objective is to build professionals who can confidently navigate real-world privacy challenges, use technology effectively and help organisations move from compliance intent to measurable implementation.”
What the credential is, and is not
GCPP is a GoTrust-issued professional credential. It is not a government-approved or externally accredited certification. Its value lies in proven hands-on proficiency with the GoTrust platform and a practical command of privacy and data protection frameworks. As the highest certification in the GoTrust ecosystem, it signals comprehensive mastery across the platform’s core privacy, security, compliance and governance capabilities.
The launch comes as organisations increasingly need professionals who can turn regulatory requirements into operational processes, technology controls and governance practices. GCPP is built for exactly those people.
