Fashion’s game of musical chairs continues: Today, it was announced that designer Veronica Leoni is leaving her post at Calvin Klein after four seasons.
During her brief tenure at the iconic American brand, Leoni took CK’s clean minimalism and filtered it through an art-inflected, sculptural approach. It’s that spirit from the ’90s that heavily translated both onto her runways and her red carpet moments.
In the realm of celebrities, Leoni crafted a number of custom designs for Hollywood step and repeats that leaned streamlined, unfussy, and tastefully restrained—often in her go-to shades of white or black. Stars like Renate Reinsve, for one, have worn Leoni’s white squared-neck slip dress with a matching headscarf, or Angelina Jolie her tailored white overcoat.

There were occasional pops of color, too. At the 2026 amFAR Gala this summer, Pamela Anderson donned a satin Calvin Klein Collection orange gown with a matching shawl. Last year, Gwyneth Paltrow also emerged wearing a shiny-pink Calvin Klein Collection top and trousers set, from Leoni’s spring 2026 collection.
Her best menswear moments, meanwhile, leaned into classic suiting and tailoring. Josh O’Connor has stepped out in a perfectly boxy and slouchy gray pinstriped suit, while Benito Skinner has embraced the timeless three-piece suit—only to ditch the blazer, throw it over his shoulders, and rock the vest.
With Leoni leaving the label, its refined and subtly chic red carpet looks will clearly depart with her. In light of the news, scroll on for even more of Veronica Leoni’s best red carpet moments at Calvin Klein.
