Former “Saturday Night Live” star Ego Nwodim trolled Shane Gillis’ controversial monologue with a pointed post on Monday.
Gillis, who hosted this weekend’s episode, cracked a joke about women “dress[ing] like whores” at the gym — so Nwodim called herself a “whore reporting for duty” via Instagram Stories.
The 38-year-old, who exited the sketch show last year after seven seasons, flashed a peace sign mid-workout in a black long-sleeve, leggings and sneakers.
The subsequent slide featured a photo of Nwodim’s breakfast, captioned, “Getting my 30 grams of protein in after heauxing.”
Reps for Gillis and “SNL” did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
In his remarks, Gillis took aim at female gymgoers’ shorts — specifically “those neon … like artificial bait color” shorts with “wrinkles [that] go around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole.”
The actor, who dropped an uncensored F-bomb later in the show, continued, “You’re not allowed to look. For real, don’t look because they are filming. I’m in the background of about 10 TikToks right now.”
Gillis, notably, was cast on “SNL” in 2019 — but axed within a week due to backlash over resurfaced podcast clips during which he used racist and homophobic slurs.
Other celebs have blasted Gillis’ headline-making monologue, with Maren Morris posting an Instagram Reel on Monday giving him the middle finger and asking him to “leave [her] gym short wedgie out of it.”
The Grammy winner, 36, captioned the social media upload, “Me being a whore at the gym.”
She also re-posted “Schitt’s Creek” alum Dan Levy’s takedown of “misogynist” Gillis’ quips, which left him “speechless.”
“Women wearing short shorts to the gym does not make them whores,” the actor, 43, told his Instagram followers Sunday. “It makes the men calling them whores misogynists. There’s a difference there.”
The Emmy winner pointed out, “By the way, I’ve seen more men’s nipples at the gym than I’ve ever seen women showing their bodies off. I’m speechless that something like that can exist on live national television.”
He urged more men to “stand up in opposition” to Gillis’ comments because males “need to be defending women more.”
Levy added, “It’s complacency that has created the environment with which women are sexually assaulted and it’s a conversation opposed to a crime. … This is not a women’s issue, this is an everybody issue.”
He concluded, “The more that men objectify women in the media, the more that other men see them as objects and treat them as objects. They are not objects. They are superior human beings to men. I’m sorry if this gets me in trouble with the internet, but f—k.”
