The FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) has appointed Michele Fung, head of Asia Pacific at Unlimit, as its new chair, succeeding Lareina Wang.
Fung will lead the association’s board of directors, focusing on regulatory advocacy, industry partnerships, and professional development.
“My vision for FTAHK is to ensure we amplify every member’s voice from early-stage startups to global financial institutions, whilst working more closely with our committee co-chairs to turn that input into real programmes,” Fung said.
Other key priorities include strengthening connections across the Greater Bay Area and international markets, she added.
Fung previously served as general manager at LianLian Global. She has also been co-chair of FTAHK's Digital Banking and Payments Committee since September 2025.
Wang, who completed the maximum two-year term as chair, will remain a member of the association's board.
